The AAPEXedu 2017 Technology track will focus on the many new and emerging technologies in vehicles and how they will impact businesses in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Expert speakers will cover several topics, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), connected vehicles, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) and new mobility models, as well as the trends impacting the automotive aftermarket.

AAPEXedu 2017 technology sessions will include:

  • Trucking Technologies: Threats and Opportunities for Service

In addition, AAPEXedu will feature a keynote session on Oct. 31, from 8 to 9 a.m. on The Future of the Vehicle: The Future of Mobility and the Aftermarket, and a Service Professionals Summit on Nov. 2, from 5 to 6 p.m. on Emerging Technology – How will the Aftermarket Prepare?

The Technology track is one of eight tracks in this year’s AAPEXedu. Other tracks include Business Management, Industry Trends, Service Professionals, Import/Export, Heavy Duty, Young Professionals and Paint and Body. AAPEX is a trade-only event and is not open to the general public. The event is expected to feature more than 2,200 exhibiting companies and nearly 50 AAPEXedu sessions. Approximately 158,000 automotive aftermarket professionals from more than 140 countries are projected to be in Las Vegas during AAPEX and the SEMA Show.
