Akebono Launches ‘Spring Brake Rewards’

The Akebono “Spring Brake Rewards” program offers technicians unlimited rewards starting at only three sets of Akebono Pro-ACT, EURO and Performance Ultra-Premium ceramic brake pads installed.

Akebono Brakes is rewarding professional technicians with incentives when they install Akebono Ultra-Premium ceramic disc brake pads this spring. The Akebono “Spring Brake Rewards” program offers technicians unlimited rewards starting at only three sets of Akebono Pro-ACT, EURO and Performance Ultra-Premium ceramic brake pads installed. The promotion runs April 10 through May 31.

“The Spring Brake Rewards program recognizes the hard-working teams that deliver superior products and service to their customers every day,” said Ken Selinger, director of Akebono Aftermarket sales and marketing. “This promotion is Akebono’s way of saying ‘thank you’ as well as creating enthusiasm for high-quality products. Technicians’ customers – and their wallets – will be delighted!”

Participation in the promotion is easy and based online, says the company. Technicians can register and create an account at AkebonoPromo.com. Once an account is created, claims are submitted by entering the unique serial number on each pad kit installed and by selecting the corresponding part number. Technicians accrue entries, and as they reach any multiples of 3, 10 or 18 kits, they can redeem the rewards (once or multiple times). Upon redemption, participants select the desired virtual gift code(s) from a number of online retailers.

“Professional technicians know that when they install Akebono brake pads, they are rewarded with satisfied customers, fewer comebacks, greater profitability, and now, even an attractive reward,” added Selinger.

The Spring Brake Rewards program is open to professional technicians in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and the Dominican Republic.
