New Arnott Front Air Struts For 2006-’11 Audi Feature Custom-Tuned Shock

The Arnott air struts include a new air bladder from ContiTech protected by an aluminum can along with a CNC-machined top mount made from aircraft-quality aluminum.

Arnott Air Suspension Products has announced the release of new, Arnott-engineered, aftermarket air suspension struts for the front right side and front left side of the 2006-’11 Audi A6, Avant, allroad Quattro and S6 (C6 Chassis; TYP 4F).

AS-2816 and AS-2817 are new, not remanufactured assemblies designed to replace OE part Nos: 4F0 616 040 S and 4F0 616 040 AA (Right), and 4F0 616 039 S and 4F0 616 039 AA (Left).

The Arnott parts replace the OE strut and the adaptive damping found on remanufactured units and feature a new custom-tuned shock absorber calibrated to provide an excellent ride and outstanding performance, says the company.

The Arnott air struts include a new air bladder from ContiTech protected by an aluminum can along with a CNC-machined top mount made from aircraft-quality aluminum. These new air struts are assembled in the U.S. with Arnott’s seals, O-rings, bumpstop, heavy-duty crimping rings, new air fitting and connector valve along with a dust boot to protect the strut.

AS-2816 and AS-2817 retail for $699 each and are backed by Arnott’s limited lifetime warranty. A limited time $75 used strut core return rebate applies to each new Arnott air strut. Each strut includes a detailed instruction manual.
