Unity Automotive And Yitao Qianchao Announce Joint Venture Partnership

The active suspension category in the aftermarket is one the largest-growing segments, projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.11 percent in 2017 and expected to reach $67.22 billion by 2021, according to Unity’s research.

 

Unity Automotive and Yitao Qianchao have announced a joint venture partnership to provide a full-service air suspension product offering. The partnership will offer a direct import program, local distribution, a special order program, full service and support, a special order/direct fulfillment program and continued new development within the active suspension category.

“We are proud to partner with Yitao Qianchao,” said Joseph Ende, president of Unity Automotive. “With the integration of the two companies we can bring an extremely aggressive program in the active suspension category to market. This joint venture will further solidify our complete offering as your one-stop shop for everything ride control.”

The active suspension category in the aftermarket is one the largest-growing segments, projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.11 percent in 2017 and expected to reach $67.22 billion by 2021, according to Unity’s research.

The partnership between the overseas manufacturer and stateside manufacturer/distributor working in unison will bring a complete line of non-electronic and electronic air strut assemblies, air compressors, air springs, conversion kits, dryers and more. The two companies say the partnership will enable Unity to offer a superior coverage, premium-quality, consistency throughout all products and the most aggressive program available in the market today. The active suspension line will consist of new products produced by Yitao Qianchao and a full line of remanufactured product produced by Unity Automotive’s stateside remanufacturing facility.

Under the joint venture with Unity Automotive and Yitao Qianchao, we are excited to manufacture, deliver, and develop all the markets demand in the active suspension category throughout the North American market,” said Helios Pang, general manager of Yitao Qianchao.
