CPS Products Acquires STAR EnviroTech Inc.

Based in Huntington Beach, California, STAR EnviroTech Inc. manufactures diagnostic smoke machines used by automotive service technicians to identify a wide range of automotive system leaks.

CPS Products Inc., a Harbour Group company, has acquired STAR EnviroTech, as announced by Jeff Fox, Harbour Group’s chairman and CEO. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The company’s products are trusted by more than 20 leading automotive OEMs, leading service tools brands and independent repair technicians, according to the company.

Fox said, “CPS and STAR are a natural combination. The product suites, distribution and sales channels are highly complementary. We look forward to utilizing the Harbour Group’s operational resources to continue building the company in Europe, Australia and around the world.”
