AxleTech International Launches On-Highway Brake Shoe Kits

The brake shoe kits, packaged in a single box, include complete components and hardware required to install brakes on on-highway trucks.

AxleTech International is adding to its aftermarket product line with new OE-quality on-highway brake kits. The product is a direct replacement for some of the most common on-highway brake shoes, including most Meritor and Eaton styles.

The brake shoe kits, packaged in a single box, include complete components and hardware required to install brakes on on-highway trucks. The brake linings are manufactured by one of the largest OE suppliers of friction materials in North America.

“Our brake shoe kits consist of new shoes, not remanufactured, which provide longer friction and drum life. Also, our brake shoe kits feature a robust e-coating that helps protect against rust jacking, heat treated anchors and roller ends for better performance and quieter braking, and through-welded tables for a solid foundation and improved braking performance,” said Mark Goedtel, product manager – brakes, at AxleTech International.

AxleTech brake shoe kits are readily available in economy, standard, premium and severe duty formulations, in both 20K and 23K Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR).
