Smithers Quality Assessments’ 2016 Quality Management Conference Set For July 14

The event, now in its fourth year, has grown from a small seminar to a conference that attracts more than 400 attendees from various industries.

Smithers Quality Assessments (SQA), a company of The Smithers Group, will hold its annual Quality Management Conference and Client Event on July 14 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, Ohio. SQA specializes in quality, safety and environmental management systems certifications. The event, now in its fourth year, has grown from a small seminar to a conference that attracts more than 400 attendees from various industries.

Recognized business and quality management leaders come to share the wealth of their knowledge, and clients have the opportunity to network with other professionals in their fields.

“What we used to refer to as our ‘Client Day’ has grown and matured into what is now known as the Smithers Quality Assessments Quality Management Conference. Each year we’ve worked to increase the value of this event for companies interested in the impact that quality management programs can have on their businesses,” said Jeanette Preston, president of Smithers Quality Assessments. “I’m thrilled to see that our clients and other industry leaders are seeing that increased value, as more are coming each year to learn from our presenters and from each other as we all seek to keep pace with ever-evolving quality standards.”

The event will begin with a keynote address from Dave Murray of the DiJulius Group and will feature a variety of educational and informative breakout sessions throughout the day, including:

  • “Zero Risk and Customer Service” presented by Dave Murray, DiJulius Group
