TBC Corp. Rebrands Merchant’s Tire Locations

The rebranded NTB Tire & Service Centers, a member of the TBC Corp. network, provide a broad range of automotive maintenance and tire services in more than 480 retail locations.

TBC Corp., a North American marketer of automotive replacement tires, has completed an initiative to rebrand 29 Merchant’s Tire & Auto Service Center locations in North and South Carolina to NTB Tire and Service Centers (better known as National Tire and Battery). NTB Tire & Service Centers, also a member of the TBC Corp. network, provide a broad range of automotive maintenance and tire services in more than 480 retail locations.

TBC Corp - logoThe rebranding initiative included an exterior refresh, interior redesign and delivery of a fully integrated marketing plan to educate customers about the new name, with the same service, according to the company. Select store locations also received a complete reimage including a full exterior remodel. TBC says this change will enhance the NTB brand by leveraging marketing efforts that continue to help the company be the customer’s first consideration when needing tires, service or maintenance in these markets.

“We are pleased with the conversion in the North and South Carolina markets and we are confident our customers will be too,” said Markus Hockenson, senior vice president of retail operations for TBC Corp. “The new NTB locations will continue to offer customers the same excellence in customer service, premier workmanship and value-priced services our customers have come to expect.”
