Malco Products Inc., a professional automotive and specialty cleaning products company based in Barberton, Ohio, has acquired the Kozak brand from AlphaMarx Industries of Middletown, Delaware.

The Kozak Auto Dry Wash is a part of a portfolio of leading automotive dusting and cleaning products manufactured in the U.S. The Kozak product line was started in Batavia, New York, in 1926, and celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. Kozak cleaning and polishing cloths are easy-to-use, high-performing and provide waterless, one-step cleaning on automotive and other surfaces, including motorcycles and furniture, the company says.

According to Stuart Glauberman, Malco’s CEO, “The Kozak Auto Dry Wash has significant opportunities for additional automotive, retail and professional growth that aligns well with our existing business lines. We feel these products, and their rich heritage of performance and quality, will do a great job of strengthening our existing offerings to the professional market while also delivering high-performing products to various retail markets.”

Malco’s plan is to leverage the current Kozak retail automotive distribution and expand its applications to the furniture and hardware industries. Current

distribution of the Kozak brand is through the kozak.com website, online retailers such as Amazon and auto part stores such as Pep Boys.
