Effectively immediately, THI Corp., a supplier of branded light-duty truck accessories for pickup truck bed applications, has changed its corporate name to Truck Hero Inc.

The company says this name change is part of a re-branding initiative that aligns its long-term corporate strategy with its consumer-driven advertising and marketing programs.

“Between our high-quality products and industry leading reputation, Truck Hero has always been held in high regard for the family of companies that we represent and the products that they offer,” said Bill Reminder, president and CEO. “We are confident that the new name will resonate with consumers, and will also match the look and feel of the new advertising programs and initiatives that we will be bringing to market in the coming year.”

Chief Operating Officer Kelly Kneifl added, “We know that truck and Jeep owners are looking for great quality and value when adding accessories to their vehicles, and that is exactly what we offer through our extensive selection. I believe that Truck Hero is the perfect name to capture our commitment to engineering excellence and innovative new products.”

Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Truck Hero has focused on providing consumers a full range of truck bed covers and other truck and Jeep accessories. Brands include Extang, TruXedo, BedRug, UnderCover, Advantage, Retrax, BAK, A.R.E., N-FAB and two online retailers, AutoCustoms and Real Truck.
