MAM Software Inc., a leading provider of business management solutions, has announced Hanson Distributing Co., one of the largest independent automotive aftermarket warehouse distributors in the Western United States, has more than doubled its business since implementing Autopart business management software.
The company says the process began four years ago, when Hanson realized it had reached the limits of its existing IMS software. “It was clear we had reached the limits of the system we had,” said Daniel Hanson, president and CEO of Hanson Distributing Co. “We had significant growth plans and were looking for a software solution that better fit our business needs and were impressed with the modern design and flexibility of Autopart.”
According to the company, after researching other options, Autopart from MAM Software continued to impress the Hanson team. “We liked MAM’s technology and commitment to the automotive aftermarket,” continued Hanson. “Autopart has provided efficiencies we never would have had with our previous system. We like how the software isn’t just an adaptation of some decades-old system but has good process flows and better access to information which helps us execute well and make better decisions. Also, the system is highly configurable and combined with the OpenWebs module, a fantastic interface and communications tool, enables us to operate effectively and continue to meet business challenges.”
“We’re proud of our partnership with Hanson Distributing,” said Patrick Maley, president of MAM Software. “We’re pleased to hear how we’ve helped them grow their business, and it’s worth mentioning how they’ve been a big part of helping us grow our business, as well, by attending user group meetings and providing us with feedback for future product releases. We look forward to seeing how we can continue helping each other in the future.”
Using modern Microsoft SQL technology, Autopart includes business management essentials for the automotive aftermarket such as point of sale, inventory management, forecasting, purchasing, reporting and a fully-integrated accounting package.
