Gates Corp. Announces AAPEX ‘Deal Of The Century’ Event

Gates will conclude its Century Bucks Program by giving finalists a chance to win $100,000 at industry week in Las Vegas.

Gates Logo - UpdatedGates Corp., a global manufacturer of automotive, industrial and heavy-duty products, announced that its “Deal of the Century” promotional event will take place at 4 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the AAPEX show in Las Vegas, in Gates booth No. 4038.  Three automotive repair professional finalists who participated in the program have been randomly selected as winners of a trip to Las Vegas for industry week and a chance at winning $100,000 at the live event. The finalists are John Welker, owner of Texoma Fleet & Auto Repair of Wichita Falls, Texas; Marc Mondich, manager/owner of K.M. Auto Care of Kennesaw, Georgia; and Charles Forehand, owner of Forehand’s Garage of Ada, Oklahoma.

This finale event will conclude the Gates Century Bucks promotional program. Participants earned entries in the Deal of the Century drawing by installing Gates belts, tensioners and accessory component kits in May, June or July of this year. In addition, 100 participants won $100 gift cards. According to Gates, the program had more than 100,000 participants.

“We are thrilled by the participation in our Century Bucks promotion and how receptive professional technicians were to the overall system inspection and repair message,” said Todd Hack, vice president of automotive aftermarket. “The Deal of the Century event will be an exciting opportunity to celebrate the success of this program and see our three finalists take a shot at winning $100,000.”
