Bond Auto Parts Acquires Towers Motor Parts

Towers Motor Parts has 34 employees between three store locations and has a rich history of serving their customers within their communities by offering experienced and professional service.

Bond Auto - LogoBond Auto Parts Inc., a Barre, Vermont, based company, has acquired Towers Motor Parts and its three store locations. Towers Motor Parts is a family business founded in 1922 on Towers Corner in Lowell, Massachusetts, by William Levine and Eddie Braverman. In 1933, William’s brother Ted opened a store in Nashua, New Hampshire, and several years later Ted’s sons Mark and Jeff opened their third store location in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The Levine family is proud to have three generations of family members working in the business.

According to the companies, Towers Motor Parts has 34 employees between the three store locations and has a rich history of serving their customers within their communities by offering experienced and professional service. “Bond’s first rate management team will build on Tower’s 93-year legacy by significantly improving inventory on hand in all three locations. I am confident that Bond has a very bright future in the Nashua, Lowell and North Chelmsford markets,” said Ken Levine, general manager of Towers Motor Parts.

Bond Auto Parts Inc. also is a third generation family owned and operated business and says it is proud to complete this acquisition with the Levine family. The Bond and Levine families have similar ideals and styles when it comes to operating a business: it comes down to doing things the right way. Building partnerships with their customers by offering the best combination of product availability, price and service. This includes taking care of their employees by offering competitive wages and benefits packages. “The acquisition of Towers in the southern New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts markets fits right into our growth pattern,” said Scott Bond, CEO of Bond Auto Parts.  “We’ve been pushing down into that area over the past four or five years and Towers Motor Parts’ locations are in communities that we’ve been targeting.”

Bond Auto plans to spend the next 30 to 60 days converting customers over to its system, increasing the store inventories and retrofitting the store locations with Bond Auto Parts signage and branding elements.
