NCMA Recognizes The Best Examples Of Automotive Cataloging

The annual National Catalog Managers Association cataloging awards celebrate excellence in print and electronic media.

NCMA - Catalog Excellence Award - LogoBETHESDA, Md. – Awards recognizing the best examples of automotive aftermarket paper catalogs, Web catalogs and mobile catalog applications were presented at the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) Knowledge Exchange conference in Orlando, Florida. Volunteer judges evaluated more than 60 submissions against established criteria to select winners in several categories.

The gold level winners of the 2015 NCMA President’s Award for Catalog Excellence were:

  • WAIglobal for its WPS Ignition Distributors & Crank Angle Sensors
  • Federal-Mogul Motorparts for its SmartChoice Mobile App

The NCMA Knowledge Exchange offers leading data receivers the opportunity to recognize a single supplier as the best example of electronic management and distribution practices in electronic catalog and product information. The 2015 best-in-class winners of the NCMA President’s     Award for Electronic Data Excellence were:

  • CARDONE Industries, presented by Advance Auto Parts
  • Dorman Products, presented by AutoZone
  • Spectra Premium Industries, presented by Epicor
  • FP Diesel by Federal-Mogul, presented by NAPA
  • Tenneco Inc., presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts
  • Walker Exhaust, presented by US Auto Parts
  • Baldwin/Hastings Filters, presented by WHI Solutions
  • Gates Corp., presented by MAM

“The awards ceremonies at the NCMA conference were an integral part of the conference, celebrating years of work and an enterprise-wide devotion to quality and precision in publishing automotive content,” said NCMA President Doreen Slayter, director, content services, Advance Auto Parts. “Congratulations to all the 2015 catalog award winners.”
