AMS Automotive Appoints SRS Marketing As Northeastern U.S. Rep Agency

SRS Marketing has served the automotive and truck aftermarket for more than 90 years. Robbie Riefberg and Jim Shapiro currently lead the agency.

AMS - LogoFENTON, Mo. –
AMS Automotive has appointed SRS Marketing as its independent manufacturer’s representative agency for the Northeast United States market, effective May 1, 2015.

SRS Marketing has served the automotive and truck aftermarket for more than 90 years. Robbie Riefberg and Jim Shapiro currently lead the agency.

“We are flattered and excited to partner with AMS,” Riefberg said. “Their products and commitment to the traditional market fit perfectly with our business values. We look forward to growing together with the AMS team.”

SRS Marketing has a reputation for handling products in the traditional market that are “service intensive.” The company services all distribution levels with personnel dedicated to “pulling through” products at the jobber and dealer levels, the company states.

SRS Marketing’s traditional markets include two-step distributors, undercar specialists, warehouse distributors, multi-store jobber chains and heavy-duty fleet distributors. The company’s retail market presence is equally as strong as its traditional presence. SRS’ retail customers include auto parts chains, mass merchants, feeders and other segments of the automotive retail market.

“AMS Automotive is very excited about the future with Robbie, Jim and the whole SRS team,” company partner Joe Asfour said. “This appointment underscores AMS’ commitment to the auto and truck aftermarket and to its independent rep channel partners.”
