Hankook Tire receives Red Dot Design Award 2015 for its truck and bus radial.

20150330_Hankook Tire Wins Red Dot Design Award 2015 (1)SEOUL, Korea – Hankook Tire announced that its Smart Control AW02 has received the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015 in the ‘Vehicle Accessories’ category.

Hankook Tire’s Smart Control AW02 met the Red Dot Design Award jury’s criteria of degree of innovation, functionality, ecological compatibility and durability. Hankook was selected for the honor from among nearly 5,000 entries from 56 countries as the best product in its category by Red Dot’s international panel of judges.

“Hankook Tire once again has been recognized for its innovative technology through the prestigious Red Dot Design Award,” said Seung Hwa Suh, vice chairman and CEO of Hankook Tire. He added, “In keeping with our commitment to technological leadership, Hankook Tire will continue to develop and introduce cutting-edge products.”

The award-winning Smart Control AW02 is a winter truck and bus radial for severe weather conditions.
