Doner Advertising Receives Graphis Award For NGK Spark Plugs Advertisement

As part of its 2015 Advertising Annual Awards, Graphis Advertising honored Doner Advertising for its “Make Fast Faster” advertising campaign created for NGK Spark Plugs.

NGK_FrostbiteWIXOM, Mich. – As part of its 2015 Advertising Annual Awards, Graphis Advertising honored Doner Advertising for its “Make Fast Faster” advertising campaign created for NGK Spark Plugs in the print and automotive products categories. The ad received platinum recognition, which is the highest tier awarded.

“Doner Advertising is a highly creative agency that is working to modify our image as a spark plug company to that of a brand that creates a passionate and emotional response that resonates with consumers,” said Mark Sprague, corporate marketing manager, NGK Spark Plugs. “Winning such an award validates Doner’s creativity and ensures we are creating new ways to connect with the NGK Spark Plugs brand.

The Doner Advertising team that created the award-winning advertisement was comprised of Jason Bergeron and Virgil Adams, creative directors; Jim Ward, art director; and Ryan Karell, copywriter. Doner creative leadership included Rob Strasberg, chief creative officer; and Chad Ackley, executive creative director.

Graphis, or the International Journal of Visual Communication, is a New York-based publication that features the work of artists, illustrators and designers in design, advertising and photography. Its highly acclaimed annuals are published each year, highlighting the various works of winners from each competition.
