MAPSA Scholarship Deadline March 31

Since the program began in 2002, MAPSA has awarded $33,750 to 59 students.

MAPSA-logoHILLIARD, Ohio – The deadline to apply for a MAPSA Jack Thayer Memorial Scholarship is March 31. One application, filled out online, could qualify for up to 15 aftermarket scholarships with the collaboration of several aftermarket associations and the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) Scholarship Committee. A completed application will automatically be considered by every organization where the student meets their qualifications.

The Midwest Automotive Parts & Service Association (MAPSA) is a regional non-profit trade association representing all aftermarket businesses in the marketplace. MAPSA provides a minimum of one $1,000 scholarship each academic year, assisting students who wish to further their education and are connected somehow to a MAPSA member company. MAPSA members and their immediate families, along with MAPSA member’s employees and their immediate families, are eligible. Since the program began in 2002, MAPSA has awarded $33,750 to 59 students.

“MAPSA is always happy to help – in some small way – the students who receive our scholarships as they pursue their goal of a college education,” said Gary Murdock, president of MAPSA.
