NGK Spark Plugs Recognized By O’Reilly Auto Parts As 2014 Vendor Of the Year

NGK-awardWIXOM, Mich. – At its annual Managers Conference held Feb. 5-8 in St. Louis, Mo., O’Reilly Auto Parts honored NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc. with the 2014 Vendor of the Year award. The award recognized NGK’s dedication in providing outstanding order fill, performance and quality for both NGK spark plugs and NTK oxygen sensors in 2014.

“On top of consistently outstanding fill rates, NGK has maintained a great reputation for performance and quality amongst our team members. In 2014, NGK continued their solid performance in terms of the blocking and tackling; however, they also partnered with us on several key projects that required extensive planning and execution,” said David Wilbanks, vice president, merchandise, O’Reilly Auto Parts. “Their performance was outstanding, and our category results have improved as a result of those projects.”

Accepting the award on behalf of NGK was Ann Robinson, national sales manager-major accounts; Cal Coburn, general manager; Mark Sprague, corporate marketing manager; and Rob MacDonald, technical services specialist.

“It was a great honor to be recognized by O’Reilly for our commitment to grow and improve operations with the organization,” said Robinson. “We look forward to continuing a successful partnership for years to come, working to exceed satisfaction in all that we do.”
