Charles Seymour Newly Appointed As Head Of ContiTech NAFTA

continental_contitech-logoFAIRLAWN, Ohio – The Executive Board of ContiTech AG, Hanover, Germany, appointed Charles Seymour, previously vice president and general manager for Veyance North America, as executive vice president of newly established business region ContiTech NAFTA, starting immediately. Taking the combined businesses of ContiTech and Veyance into account, he will coordinate joint forces to better meet the needs of the customers and, at the same time, strengthen the ContiTech business in general in that region.

After several leading positions in the industry, Seymour joined Veyance Technologies Inc. as vice president and general manager of the North American Region in March 2010. A native of northeast Ohio, Seymour was born and raised in Cleveland. He earned his BA from Bowdoin College, majoring in economics and government. He received his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

ContiTech acquired Veyance Technologies Inc. at the end of January. The former Veyance offices in Fairlawn, Ohio, will serve as ContiTech’s North American regional home office.
