Elite EXTRA’s New Customer Portal Enhances Integration With Fuse5 WMS Software

Fuse5-logoEAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Elite EXTRA is launching a major overhaul of its customer portal, working hand-in-hand with Fuse5 to complete major enhancements with the integration to its WMS software. Partners since 2013, the two software firms previously worked together in an order capture capacity; seamlessly sending parts delivery orders from Fuse5 directly into EXTRA.

A product of Applied Data Consultant’s subsidiary company Extra Trax, Elite EXTRA is a leader in route sequence optimization and real-time GPS tracking in dispatch and delivery management software for the automotive aftermarket parts distribution industry.

With the new customer portal, mutual clients of Fuse5 and EXTRA can give their customers the ability to quickly request a pickup for return and then track the return pickup. The signed invoices for orders and pickups get sent right back to the Fuse5 system. All desired functionality for users is pushed to one place, minimizing time spent organizing, requesting and tracking, which maximizes efficiencies, the two companies say.

Initially serving as an output and resource for information such as estimated times of arrival (ETAs) and POD documents, EXTRA’s customer portal is now equipped to handle the entry of information, or pick-up requests to EXTRA, a time-saver for users. This gives users an intuitive interface, while keeping track of everything behind the scenes, expediting the part return process.

Jim Ward, president of Applied Data Consultants Inc., parent company of Extra Trax and owner of EXTRA, said he is excited that the vision is coming to fruition. “Fuse5 and EXTRA customers and end-users are the ones who will benefit most – going to one place for signed delivery documents, ETAs and a streamlined portal to manage their pickups and returns.”

John Bunting, chief operating officer of Fuse5 shared Ward’s excitement for the future. “This is a great partnership that’s going to save time and money for our warehouse distributors, two-steppers and jobbers,” said Bunting.
