Trim Parts Holdings Corp. Rebrands As Restoration Parts Group; Names Two New VPs

Restoration Parts Group also adds SoffSeal Inc. to its family of companies as its first order of business.

LEBANON, Ohio – Trim Parts Holdings Corp. has announced the company’s name change to Restoration Parts Group (RPG) in conjunction with its acquisition of SoffSeal Inc., the leading brand in classic car weatherstripping, rubber extrusions and rubber seals. SoffSeal was founded in 1980 by Gary Anderson in Harrison, Ohio.

With the addition of SoffSeal Inc., RPG has added another company to its ever-expanding family of companies, which already includes Trim Parts, Parts Unlimited Interiors (PUI), The Right Stuff Detailing, Mr. Mustang and First Place Auto Products.  RPG is owned by Dubin Clark & Co. Inc., which also owns leading automotive brands Flowmaster, Hurst Shifters, Hurst Driveline, B&M Racing and Dinan Engineering.

“With the acquisition of another industry leader in SoffSeal, rebranding ourselves as the Restoration Parts Group was a no-brainer,” said Mitch Williams, CEO of RPG. “The addition of SoffSeal to RPG is a logical extension of the growth shown by our company in the past few months. While Trim Parts focuses on the exterior components, and PUI specializes in all things interior, SoffSeal are experts in weatherstripping, the point where the exterior and interior meet. We are excited to add them to the RPG family.”

SoffSeal Inc. will continue to operate at its current location in Harrison, Ohio, where it manufactures high-quality weatherstripping products as well as custom-molded parts and rubber components such as pedal pads, bushings, grommets and seals.
