Toyo Tires Receives ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems Certification

The nearly 2 million-square-foot TNA manufacturing and warehousing facility was established in June 2004 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. TNA is responsible for production of both the Toyo Tires and Nitto tire brands.

WHITE, Ga. – Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. (TNA) located in White, Ga., has achieved its certification to the latest ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems.  
 
The nearly 2 million-square-foot TNA manufacturing and warehousing facility was established in June 2004 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. TNA is responsible for production of both the Toyo Tires and Nitto tire brands.
 
The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an organization that develops and publishes international standards. It provides practical strategic tools for tackling many of today’s global challenges by mapping out a framework that companies or organizations can follow to set up an effective environmental management system; such as but not limited to ensuring products and services are safe, practical tools for looking to identify and control environmental impacts and constantly improve environmental performance, reducing costs by minimizing waste and errors, and increasing productivity with reliability of good quality.

Both high-performance passenger car and light truck tires are produced at the TNA facility.
