Newly Enhanced ANCO Profile Beam Blades Offer Best-In-Class Performance, Nearly 100-Percent Coverage With Just 12 SKUs

New ANCO Profile wipers feature patented Articulated Contact Technology, which permits unrestricted flexing for more uniform pressure distribution and improved conformance to today's curved windshields, according to Federal-Mogul.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Federal-Mogul has announced extensive enhancements to its range of ANCO Profile beam (flat) wiper blades with several new features that the company says will help ensure best-in-class performance and provide nearly 100-percent coverage of late-model vehicles with just 12 SKUs. Manufactured by Federal-Mogul Corp., ANCO Wipers are known as “The Clearest Choice in Wiper Blades” and are the official wiper blade of the National Hockey League.

New ANCO Profile wipers feature patented Articulated Contact Technology, which permits unrestricted flexing for more uniform pressure distribution and improved conformance to today’s curved windshields, according to Federal-Mogul. Each Profile blade is equipped with an integral, symmetrical spoiler that ensures increased downforce for exceptional blade-to-glass contact and includes the brand’s exclusive DuraKlear rubber compound for a consistent, clear wipe in a full range of weather conditions, the company says.

The new ANCO Profile range enables automotive parts stores and vehicle service providers to offer more than 98-percent coverage by carrying just 12 part numbers. According to Federal-Mogul, this exceptional coverage efficiency is the result of the brand’s KwikConnect Installation System and an innovative new connector. The new connection system also offers an ultra-low-profile design that mirrors the look of original equipment beam blades.

“ANCO Profile has quickly become a leading choice of consumers who want to replace their OE beam blades or upgrade their vehicles to the latest technology at an affordable price. We are extending our product leadership in the beam blade category with these important new features that will benefit consumers and the thousands of businesses that sell ANCO blades,” said Mike McKee, global product director, visibility, Federal-Mogul Vehicle Components segment.

ANCO Profile wipers are now offered in attractive new retail packaging that highlights key product features as well as the ANCO brand’s status as the official wiper blade of the National Hockey League. The packaging also includes a more easily identified part number.
