CLEVELAND – Prestolite Performance, a manufacturer of performance auto parts brands including Mr. Gasket, ACCEL, ACCEL motorcycle, Hays, Lakewood, Mallory, Mallory Marine and Prestolite Proconnect, announced it will debut more than 10 new products in its booth (No. 22351) at the 2013 SEMA Show taking place Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas.
In addition to unveiling a portfolio of new products, on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in its booth at 10:30 a.m., Prestolite Performance will use the annual trade show as a venue to make an important strategic corporate announcement and debut a special SEMA Show project vehicle that kicks off the 50th anniversary of Mr. Gasket.
More than 20 years ago, Mr. Gasket Founder Joe Hrudka commissioned Boyd Coddington to bring to life the Thom Taylor-designed 1957 Chevrolet Chezoom. This year, Prestolite Performance worked with The Roadster Shop and Boyd Coddington Jr. to design and create a one-of-a-kind 1966 GMC Suburban that promises to be one of the most stunning debuts at SEMA, the company says.
Powered by a powerful big block engine that includes a long list of Mr. Gasket signature products and “dress-up” parts, the custom Suburban also will be finished with custom Mr. Gasket Green paint applied by Charlie Hutton.
More than 10 new products will debut this year at the SEMA Show under the Prestolite Performance family of brands. ACCEL will introduce several new ignition and fuel system components for the performance minded car owner, ranging from innovative ignition coils to special fuel injectors, pumps and filters. Continuing its long history of providing some of the best powertrain and appearance products, the Mr. Gasket brand will debut a number of new gaskets, engine hardware and dress-up kits for the restorer and weekend warrior alike.
Additional details on the specific products announced at SEMA will be available immediately following Prestolite Performance’s unveiling and executive announcement at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
