Spectra Premium Unveils EGR Cooler For Ford Powerstroke

As part of Spectra Premium's commitment to offer a turnkey solution, all necessary installation hardware is included with the EGR Cooler.

BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec – Spectra Premium Industries has introduced an EGR Cooler for Ford 6.0L Powerstroke diesel engines.

The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler on the Ford Powerstroke has a high premature failure rate due to the lack of maintenance on its diesel engine. This eventually leads to exhaust carbon buildup in the EGR cooler. Contaminated coolant also will erode and cause an EGR Cooler leak. As a result, it restricts cooling, which causes the EGR Cooler to fail, the company points out.

Spectra Premium’s EGR Cooler is manufactured with high temperature-resistant stainless steel, improving its durability and corrosion resistance. The casted end-tank manifolds are designed to withstand extreme temperature and pressure, the company says.

As part of Spectra Premium’s commitment to offer a turnkey solution, all necessary installation hardware is included with the EGR Cooler.
