NASCAR Green’s Mike Lynch To Join MERA Sustainability Panel On Oct. 2

The panel will be led by Mark Buckley, vice president, environmental affairs, Staples Inc., who delivered the luncheon keynote address at last year's conference.

TROY, Mich. – Mike Lynch, managing director, green innovation, NASCAR, will join a sustainability panel during a remanufacturing and sustainability conference co-hosted by the Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) and the Golisano Institute for Sustainability on Oct. 2 in Troy, Mich.
 
The panel will be led by Mark Buckley, vice president, environmental affairs, Staples Inc., who delivered the luncheon keynote address at last year’s conference.
 
The conference theme — “Advancing Sustainability through Remanufacturing” — seeks to link remanufacturing with an organization’s overall sustainability strategy, raise awareness about the contributions of the remanufacturing industry and offer networking opportunities. Speakers and panelists throughout the day will discuss key trends and best practices as well as challenges and opportunities in remanufacturing and sustainability.
 
“The NASCAR Green platform has contributed to NASCAR’s reputation as the leader in sports sustainability,” said John Chalifoux, president and COO, MERA. “Members in the remanufacturing industry can learn from the business models of NASCAR, Staples and other organizations that have successfully implemented sustainability programs.”
