CTEK Releases Its Latest Battery System Accessory

The CTEK BATTERY ANALYZER tests the condition of all types of 12-volt batteries.

TWINSBURG, Ohio —  CTEK has released its latest battery system accessory, the CTEK BATTERY ANALYZER. All types of 12-volt batteries can be easily and quickly tested with high accuracy for their condition, according to the company.

The CTEK BATTERY ANALYZER tests the condition of 12-volt lead-acid batteries, including wet, maintenance-free, Ca/Ca, gel and AGM styles. The handheld device needs only to be connected to the positive and negative poles of the battery before following the step-by-step instructions on the display, the company says. Then, it tests the battery in seconds and provides fast and easy-to-understand results on its condition.

Four levels indicate the state of the battery, and any action to be taken from Battery Good, Good/Recharge, Charge & Retest or Replace Battery. The Charge and Test feature ensures the battery can retain its charge. There is no need to disconnect the battery from the vehicle to use this unique patented technology.

The CTEK BATTERY ANALYZER tests the battery without placing a load on it and is safe for the user and vehicle electronics. It is also reverse-polarity protected and creates no heat or sparks. The operating voltage range is 8–15 volts with a test range of 200–1200CCA and is accurate to ± 0.1V. The CTEK BATTERY ANALYZER comes with a two year limited warranty.
