INDIANAPOLIS – Allison Transmission Holdings Inc., manufacturer of fully-automatic transmissions for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, medium- and heavy-tactical U.S. defense vehicles and hybrid-propulsion systems for transit buses, announced today that investment funds affiliated with The Carlyle Group and Onex Corp. are not proceeding with the previously announced secondary offering of common stock due to market conditions.
