BETHESDA, Md. On Wednesday, Sept. 30, for the first time, the Virtual Aftermarket eForum will offer attendees the opportunity to discover and learn about new e-business and technology products and services, without getting up from their desks. The inaugural online event will feature a first-of-a kind virtual trade show of aftermarket technology providers, providing networking and business development, some of the most valuable features of an industry conference or trade show.
The Aftermarket eForum virtual trade show will include the gold-level sponsors, Autologue Computer Systems and Activant Solutions, as well as seven other providers of industry-specific technology products and services. Throughout Sept. 30, the booths will be staffed for online chats and to respond to text questions. Attendees can easily search vendor exhibits and downloadable content by subject to easily find companies and content of greatest interest to their business.
"In the unique virtual trade show environment, eForum attendees can download product brochures and demonstrations, case studies, fact sheets and white papers all at the click of a mouse," said eForum chairman Scott Luckett, vice president, technology standards, AAIA. "There is no quicker, easier or cost-effective way to learn about new technology solutions."
Many booths will offer a prize giveaway to one of the attendees who complete a short survey or questionnaire, and attendees at the Virtual Aftermarket eForum can earn points toward eligibility in a grand door prize giveaway of a 42" flat screen TV. Points are earned by visiting gold-level sponsors, other vendor exhibits, attending keynote presentations and downloading content from the resource library.
