More Than $200,000 In Scholarships, Grants Available Through The Collision Repair Education Foundation

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – High schooland post-secondary collision students attending career and technical schools and colleges have the opportunity to apply for more than $200,000 in available scholarships and tool grants through the Collision Repair Education Foundation and the organization’s industry supporters.

Spring 2015 grant and scholarship opportunities include:
·      3M Hire Our Heroes Veteran Scholarships & Tool Grants
·      ABRA Auto Body & Glass Tool Grants
·      Atlanta I-CAR Committee Scholarship
·      CCC Michael Salvatore Memorial Student Repair Technician Scholarships
·      Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees Scholarships
·      The Lon Baudoux Legacy Scholarships
·      PPG Automotive Refinish Scholarships

Collision Repair Education Foundation Director of Grant Programs Melissa Marscin noted, “We would like to thank the participating industry companies for creating these scholarship and tool grant opportunities for collision students around the country. We encourage all industry members to visit local high school and post-secondary collision school programs, talk to these students, and not only encourage them to apply for these opportunities but also remind them that there is a $30 billion collision industry that has many worthwhile career paths available for them to succeed in.”

The scholarship and tool grant application is available through the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s website, www.CollisionEducationFoundation.org, with a deadline of Feb. 13 to apply. Winners will be selected by members of the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s Board of Trustees Selection Committee and notified by mail and phone.
