Schaeffler Receives Supplier Certification From Caterpillar

The SQEP certification is recognized throughout the industry and is awarded to suppliers who consistently deliver top-level service and outstanding operational performance.

Schaeffler has been presented with the Caterpillar Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP) certification. The SQEP certification is recognized throughout the industry and is awarded to suppliers who consistently deliver top-level service and outstanding operational performance. Specific and stringently-defined targets in areas such as product quality, delivery performance and process optimization have to be met or exceeded to be awarded this certification. With Schaeffler’s technological innovations, the company works to set the highest quality standards, while manufacturing in regions around the world where its customers are located.

Dr. Stefan Spindler, CEO Industrial at Schaeffler AG; Christian Zeidlhack, vice president of global key account management at Schaeffler Industrial; and Mike Paschke, global key account manager for Caterpillar at Schaeffler, accepted the commemoration at Caterpillar’s administrative offices in Peoria, Illinois. “We are extremely proud to receive this award, which honors the work being done by Schaeffler employees throughout the world. We also look forward to enhancing our outstanding collaborative partnership even more in the years to come,” said Zeidlhack.

Caterpillar and Schaeffler have been business allies for many years. FAG and INA-brand products including tapered and cylindrical roller bearings are used in Caterpillar machines such as dozers, mining trucks and excavators.
