The Miami Airport Convention Center was the host for the third year for one of Florida’s premier automotive events. National Performance Warehouse (NPW), with headquarters in Miami, brought vendors, jobbers, retailers, installers and enthusiasts together for an educational and fun day of cars, trucks, products and prizes.
More than 3,500 people enjoyed a large car show, and laid claim to several hundred door prizes, including 55-inch TVs and a cruise to the Caribbean, while discovering the latest and greatest in maintaining, accessorizing or repairing vehicles of every make and model.
For the second year, the FAST Expo featured a live engine build that was raffled off at the end of the day to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Miami HEAT Dancers also made their sixth FAST Expo appearance to entertain the crowd and sign autographs.
On Saturday evening, 250 guests attended a pre-show award and appreciation dinner where Bumper to Bumper, AAM Parts Pro & Horsepower Sales performance jobbers were honored. In addition, awards were presented for Rep of the Year and Supplier of the Year in the performance and traditional categories. NPW President and CEO Larry Pacey had this to say about the event, “The weather this year was absolutely perfect. We had a great Florida winter day to go to an automotive event. The car show was the largest we ever held too. Vendors, reps and jobbers felt a lot of energy and the orders were up nicely over last year.”
The next NPW event is the Karbelt KARS Expo, taking place March 13-15 at the International Center in Toronto, Canada.
