Katech Launches Free Members-Only Website For Performance Car Enthusiasts

The Katech Network gives members access to the latest precision products from Katech, as well as to new content and discussions with Katech's master engine builders.

Katech, a builder of high-performance engines for track and street, has introduced The Katech Network (TKN), a free, members-only website for performance car enthusiasts. TKN gives members exclusive access to the latest precision products from Katech, as well as to new content and discussions with Katech’s master engine builders. Access to TKN is free with registration at TheKatechNetwork.com.

“For more than 40 years, we have designed, developed and built engines for drivers and vehicles that have won at nearly every racing venue around the world,” said Steve Spurr, president of Katech Engines. “We have helped thousands of performance car and racing enthusiasts optimize their vehicles with the best engines and precision parts on the planet. We want to expand our reach, interact with more fans and provide even more access into the Katech world. This is the vision behind The Katech Network.”

The Katech Network will feature insider access to the company’s racing teams and engineers through videos, forum discussions and blog content, as well as special promotions and information about new product development. The videos will showcase everything from design and manufacturing to Katech’s rich motorsports heritage and Katech project and customer cars.

“TKN will provide us an even greater opportunity to engage with our customers,” said Jason Harding, director of aftermarket operations at Katech. “Members of TKN will get early access to new Katech products developed and priced exclusively for car owners who thought a Katech engine was out of reach. We also have a lot of other things planned for TKN that will deliver more value for members, including Katech TV, which will be launched later this year.”

The first product introduced through TKN is Katech’s first-ever LS3 416 Short Block. The new GM block is capable of producing 900-plus horsepower when combined with other precision components. The engine is an upgrade for a variety of GM vehicles, including Corvette, Camaro, Cadillac CTS-V, Chevy SS and GM trucks. More information about the 416 Short Block can be found at thekatechnetwork.com/products.
