Innova Announces New Telematics Division

The new division will be headquartered at the corporate offices in Irvine, California, and will be led by Mike Fitzgerald serving as executive vice president and general manager.

Following the acquisition of Aftermarket Telematics Technologies LLC (ATT) and its Vehimatics connected car technology, Innova Electronics Corp. has formed a new division, Innova Telematics Solutions.

Innova - Telematics Solutions - LogoThe new division will be headquartered at Innova’s corporate offices in Irvine, California, and will be led by Mike Fitzgerald serving as executive vice president and general manager. Jim Dykstra, former president of ATT, will assume the role of director of telematics for Innova Telematics Solutions.

Dykstra brings an extensive telematics background to Innova. He founded ATT in 2011 while serving as CEO of Dykstra’s Auto Service with locations in Hudsonville, Byron Center and Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2015, he formed Dytech Automotive Group to lead the direction of currently owned shops and set the strategy for future shop acquisitions. A graduate of Ferris State University with a degree in automotive sciences, Dykstra is an active member of the auto care industry, currently serving on the Auto Care Association board of directors and its telematics work group.
