Continental Named One Of Fortune Magazine’s ‘Most Admired Companies’

Fortune magazine recognized the company for excellence in areas like product and service quality, use of corporate assets, financial soundness, quality of management and social responsibility.

Continental was honored as one of Fortune magazine’s “Most Admired Companies” for 2017, ranking among the Top 5 in the motor vehicle parts category. Fortune magazine recognized the company for excellence in areas like product and service quality, use of corporate assets, financial soundness quality of management and social responsibility. Continental currently employs more than 220,000 people in 55 countries.

“Being named as one of Fortune’s ‘Most Admired Companies’ is not only a great honor, but a direct result of the great work and commitment of our teams around the world,” said Samir Salman, CEO of Continental North America. “Every day, we are actively involved in shaping the future of mobility, working with partners and customers around the world. Along with this recognition, Continental also was recently named one of “America’s Best Employers” by Forbes magazine for two consecutive years and recognized as one of “Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the National Association for Business Resources. These recognitions are a testament to Continental’s constant commitment to creating a progressive workplace environment for its employees worldwide.

Fortune surveyed some 3,800 executives, analysts, directors and experts from different industries and used the data to select the “Most Admired Companies.” Participants were asked to rate companies from their own industries on factors ranging from global competitiveness and innovation to social responsibility and quality of management.
