COMP Cams Named NSRA Manufacturer of the Year

COMP Cams representatives Scooter Brothers, Ron Coleman and John Menzler accepted the award on behalf of the company at a special ceremony on Aug. 5.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – COMP Cams has been named Manufacturer of the Year by the National Street Rod Association (NSRA).

Upward of 10,000 cars were seen at the 2011 NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Ky., over a four day span. The event was especially meaningful for COMP Cams, as the “Absolute Leader in Valve Train Technology” was named NSRA Manufacturer of the Year.

Founded in 1970, the NSRA is the foremost street rodding organization in the country and provides leadership, guidance and fun events for enthusiasts across the country. COMP Cams representatives Scooter Brothers, Ron Coleman and John Menzler accepted the award on behalf of the company at a special ceremony on Aug. 5.

“We have had a very rewarding relationship with the NSRA, and to be named Manufacturer of the Year is truly an honor for our company and all of our employees,” said Scooter Brothers, partner at COMP Cams. “We look forward to working closely with this great organization for years to come.”
