AAIA's president and CEO, Kathleen Schmatz, was recently elected to the board of directors of the Automotive Hall of Fame (AHF). BETHESDA, MD — AAIA’s president and CEO, Kathleen Schmatz, was recently elected to the board of directors of the Automotive Hall of Fame (AHF). She joins Al Gaspar, AAIA’s president emeritus, who joined the AHF Board in 2000.

“Al Gaspar has continued a long legacy of support and partnership between AAIA and the Automotive Hall of Fame, and I look forward to Kathleen furthering that relationship” said Jeffrey Leestma, AHF president.

“I am honored to serve alongside so many other distinguished executives in the automotive industry,” said Schmatz.

Located in Dearborn, Mich., the AHF is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievement in the automotive industry. The AHF also works to preserve automotive heritage and educate future generations about the industry.
