Yokohama is the presenting sponsor of the Skate Best Tricks competition at the event, which will crown world champions in action sports disciplines such as FMX, BMX, Skate and Scooter.

Yokohama Tire Corp. fortified its partnership with the high-energy Nitro Circus organization by becoming an official partner of the Nitro World Games, happening on June 24 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.

Yokohama, already the exclusive tire of the Nitro Circus Live Tour in the United States, is the presenting sponsor of the Skate Best Tricks competition at the event, which will crown world champions in action sports disciplines such as FMX, BMX, Skate and Scooter. NBC will televise the Nitro World Games in primetime.

“Yokohama is super excited to be part of the action in this year’s Nitro World Games,” said Fardad Niknam, director of LTR segment development. “We have some fun surprises set up for the Nitro fans and look forward to showcasing our super-tough line of GEOLANDAR light truck tires at the Worlds.”

The Nitro World Games are produced by Nitro Circus, one of the world’s leading action sports and entertainment brands. Created by Mike Porra, Nitro Circus executive chairman and global head of creative, with action sports icon Travis Pastrana, Nitro World Games pushed the limits of action sports competition during its inaugural event last year.
