LEESBURG, Va. – During the Women’s Industry Network (WIN) board of directors annual meeting held during the group’s recent educationalconference in San Diego, the WIN board elected the 2014-’15 executive committee. Margaret Knell (I-CAR) will assume her role as immediate past chair. She addressed the membership by saying, "I am honored to have served as your chair for the past year. While we have accomplished many things, there are many more opportunities ahead. WIN would not be here without its members, volunteers and supporters.” Knell then officially passed the torch to Caspersen to assume her newly elected position.

In addition to the new executive team, the board welcomed new industry representatives including Jaclyn Byers (State Farm Insurance Co.); Trish Gould (Keenan Auto Body); Nina Pedraza-Zinna (SCA Appraisal); Marie Peevy (Automotive Training Coordinators LLC); and Jessica Rob (AkzoNobel).

Board members continuing their service to the organization include Susanna Gotsch (CCC Information Services Inc.); Katie Henwood (Axalta Coatings Systems); Melissa Miller (CARSTAR Franchise Systems); Amy Nuttall (USAA); Michelle Sullivan (AkzoNobel Coatings Inc.); Beverly Rook Twibell (Safelite Solutions); and Ruth Weniger (Airbag Solutions LLC).

After being announced as the incoming chair of WIN, Casperson stated, “We have set the tone of inclusion with our framework of membership from all segments of the collision industry, and our board reflects that diversity. I’m honored to be leading WIN’s efforts for the coming year and to be networked with so many professional and talented women who are actively engaged in driving the future of women in our industry.”

She went on to say, “I would encourage anyone who shares our commitment to promote the future of women in collision and to drive accomplishment based on talent to spread the word and get involved with WIN!”

At the event, the assemblage also recognized departing board members with a memento of appreciation and a warm round of applause. Board members concluding their terms included Teresa Bolton (ASE); Victoria Jankowski (State Farm Insurance Co.); Melissa Perez (FinishMaster Inc.); and Jessica Voss-Kehl (3M).
