Women at the Wheel: Judy Finn

Finn is the COMAN-National Accounts Sales Manager at DENSO.

During the month of June, aftermarketNews will be presenting the esteemed 2024 Class of AMN’s Women at the Wheel. From trailblazers who have helped create departments and even entire companies, to those who ensure their office runs like a well-oiled machine, this year’s group of 26 is full of authentic leaders, each with a story to tell.

Mentorship and programming have united women throughout the aftermarket, serving as a springboard for them to enter the industry and grow their roles into successful careers. They are sparking change and driving results, together.

Today’s honoree is Judy Finn, COMAN-National Accounts Sales Manager at DENSO.

How your aftermarket career began: My stepdad owned a car dealership and I started working in the parts department working in inventory and doing the cashier when I was 16. He kind of took me under his wing. I got a chance to get my feet wet and, as I grew older, I would do whatever I needed to do. I worked on the OE side for 9 years until I got my job at Denso 22 years ago. While here, I helped create the Coman department.

Proudest career accomplishment: I realized that I could make a difference with my teams. So my biggest accomplishment is the people I’ve helped grow at Denso.

Family-owned business influence: You could say I have motor oil in my veins. It happens a lot with family businesses. I was close with my stepdad. He really made an effort to make me a part of the organization because he said he thought I was a smart kid. It really got my juices flowing.

In tomorrow’s edition of aftermarketNews, we’ll feature Lindsay Fleege, Manager of Sales Training at Valvoline Global Operations.
