WIX Upgrades ProTec Oil Filter Line

WIX Upgrades ProTec Oil Filter Line

The new WIX ProTec filters will be featured in the Product and Package Showcase at AAPEX.

WIX Filters announced that in first quarter 2022 the company will launch the re-engineered WIX ProTec line of products. The new WIX ProTec oil filter features improved filtration media to allow for up to 10,000 miles of premium engine protection. The WIX ProTec brand has been extended to now include air and cabin air filters, as well. Additionally, the entire line features new, eye-catching packaging that was designed with the installer in mind.

The WIX ProTec oil filter provides up to 96 percent or more containment-trapping capabilities for passenger vehicles and light trucks. This elevated design allows for an extended period between oil changes, as the previous version provided engine protection for just 3,000-5,000 miles.

According to WIX, ProTec air filters offer high-performing, worry-free protection and are available for just about every car and light truck on the road today. These filters play a vital role in preventing foreign particles such as soot, carbon and abrasives from entering the fuel mix and damaging an engine. WIX ProTec cabin air filters capture airborne contaminants, while also preventing leaves, dirt, bugs and other debris from negatively impacting the operation of the HVAC systems heater, air conditioner and defroster.

“WIX is dedicated to providing customers in the aftermarket with premium-quality filters designed to exceed all performance demands,” said Alison Grabowski, senior marketing manager at MANN+HUMMEL. “Our commitment to continual product and process improvements is affirmed with the design of products that dramatically increase the span of premium vehicle protection.”

The new WIX ProTec filters will be featured in the Product and Package Showcase at AAPEX. Visitors can get more details at the MANN+HUMMEL booth, #A1832.
