WIN To Unveil Results Of Young Technician Study In Webinar

Teaming up with BodyShop Business, WIN will present trends from a nearly year-long study impacting the collision repair technician pipeline.

The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) is inviting the collision repair industry to a free video webinar May 4 at 1 p.m. EDT as it unveils the findings of its latest white paper and extensive industry study, “The Tech Shortage: Understanding Young People’s Career Choices.”

Teaming up with BodyShop Business, WIN will present trends from a nearly year-long study impacting the collision repair technician pipeline. The program, originally scheduled to be presented at the annual WIN Educational Conference, will now be shared not only with WIN sponsors, their associates and WIN members but with every interested party in the collision repair industry.

“Join WIN for our reveal of the 2020 industry white paper we put together in cooperation with BodyShop Business,” said Cheryl Boswell, board chair of WIN. “It’s a detailed analysis of where today’s young people are going for their vocational interests, and also details why some have chosen collision repair and the reasons they recommend others go into this industry as a career. Given the importance of this study and its resulting data and current economic climate, WIN is pleased to provide the white paper and webinar to all industry professionals at no cost.”

The presentation will last just over an hour, and following the session there will be a live Q&A session open to all attendees hosted by Cheryl Boswell, BodyShop Business Editor Jason Stahl and Babcox Media Audience Insights Manager Bruce Kratofil.

The session will be hosted on Zoom. No account or software is required. The webinar link will be provided upon registration.
