WIAC Kicks Off 2023 Scholarship Fundraising Event

A live auction will be held during the 2023 Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Women in Auto Care is hosting a live auction for its fundraising event during the 2023 Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023 in Palm Springs, California, to continue providing scholarships to young women seeking careers in the auto care industry. Last year, the Women in Auto Care fundraiser event raised over $30,000 toward its scholarship program.

The group is seeking prize donations ranging from $150-$500 each. 

Suggested donations include:

  • Travel packages
  • Gift cards (examples: Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Amazon)
  • Designer brand donations (examples: Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Dooney & Burke, Michael Kors, etc.)
  • Designer handbags, wallets, clutches, accessories
  • Jewelry/watches
  • Electronics
  • Online classes or experiences (examples: professional resume review, one-on-one coaching sessions, virtual cocktail class, online painting class, etc.)
  • Niche automotive-related items
  • Race experiences
  • Gift subscriptions

In making requests for support/donations, Women in Auto Care recommends referring to the event as the “Women in Auto Care Auction.” All donations should be submitted by Friday, Jan. 27, 2023 and be sent to:
