The hour-long webinar will take place at 3 p.m. ET on March 19, and will provide participants with a country profile, market information, best business prospects and information on the association’s upcoming trade mission to Colombia, June 5-6.

Colombia has emerged as a highly viable international business market for the automotive aftermarket. Under the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, most auto parts enter the market tariff free and tariffs on other parts will be reduced to zero over the next one to five years. With 49 million inhabitants, Colombia is the fourth-largest economy in Latin America, and in contrast to most Latin American countries that have only one or two major cities, Colombia has five commercial hubs. In addition, U.S. exports to Colombia in 2017 were valued at $13.3 billion.

The complimentary webinar will feature firsthand market insights from the American Chamber of Commerce in Colombia. Participants will have the opportunity to raise questions and have their specific interests addressed during the webinar.

Key topics to be discussed include:

  • Doing business in Colombia – why and how;
  • The automotive industry in Colombia – size and scope;
  • The best prospects and opportunities existing for the automotive aftermarket in Colombia; and
  • Details on Auto Care Association’s trade mission to Colombia

The webinar is open to all Auto Care Association members and non-members. For more details about the webinar and to register, click here.
