Walker Products Holds International Sales Rep Meeting Before AAPEX

Nearly 100 reps, sales staff and management were on-hand for the celebration.

Celebrating its 70th year in business, Walker Products held its annual sales meeting with its international team of sales reps at the Grand Lux Café located in the Palazzo hotel just before the opening of the AAPEX show. Nearly 100 reps, sales staff and management were on-hand for the celebration.

During the meeting, Geoffrey Wilsey, vice president of sales and marketing, announced this year’s award winners:

walker-products-stan-padoverStan Padover & Associates of Long Island, New York, was named “Sales Rep Agency of the Year.” “Michael Padover and his team have done a fabulous job this year in representing Walker Products. Their success rate in closing new business as well as contributing to the growth of our existing business has been phenomenal. Additionally, their recent efforts at the installer level have significantly raised the bar for awareness and acceptance of the Walker Products brand,” said Wilsey.

Darren Mohar of Memphis, Tennessee, was named “Sales Rep of the Year.” “We are extremely pleased by the effort, dedication and level of professionalism exhibited by Darren Mohar. His attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction are the skills that have earned him respect from many of the customers in his market. Further, his reliability and dependability are the characteristics that keep him at the top of the list for the customers and manufacturer’s that he represents. Reps like Darren are few and far between. Walker Products is fortunate to have a rep of his caliber and integrity on our team,” said Wilsey.
