DEARBORN, MI — Daniel Coulson, Visteon’s executive vice president and CFO, has announced he will retire on March 31, after a distinguished 38-year career at Visteon and Ford Motor Co.
Coulson was director of worldwide accounting for Ford before joining Visteon prior to its spin-off from the auto manufacturer in 2000. He began at Ford in 1965 as an accountant with the General Parts Division.
Coulson originally intended to announce his retirement in early December 2003, but agreed to remain with the company on an interim basis after his replacement, George Strickler, former CFO at BorgWarner, withdrew from the new appointment.
Pestillo said the company is making progress in its search for Coulson’s new successor and expects to announce its plans soon.
