Visteon Appoints New Associate Director, Supplier Diversity Development

Visteon Corp. has appointed Henry Martin, Jr. to associate director, supplier diversity development. In this new position, Martin will be responsible for managing the growth and development of Visteon's diverse supply base, including minority business enterprises (MBEs) and women-owned enterprises, to meet the company's goal to increase diversity spending significantly within the next five years. Martin also will oversee the annual alignment of supplier goals with Visteon's customer business goals and diversity council initiatives.

DEARBORN, MI — Visteon Corp. has appointed Henry Martin, Jr. to associate director, supplier diversity development.

In this new position, Martin will be responsible for managing the growth and development of Visteon’s diverse supply base, including minority business enterprises (MBEs) and women-owned enterprises, to meet the company’s goal to increase diversity spending significantly within the next five years. Martin also will oversee the annual alignment of supplier goals with Visteon’s customer business goals and diversity council initiatives.

He will be based in Plymouth, Mich.

With more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, Martin most recently served as commodity purchasing manager, non-metals commodity sourcing and electrical commodity sourcing for Visteon.
