VIPAR Heavy Duty Announces V! IMPACT Conference

The V! IMPACT Conference is currently planned for the third week of October.

VIPAR Heavy Duty has announced the organization’s annual conference will be held virtually in 2020. In consideration of the unprecedented nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and to help ensure the health, safety and well-being of its network partners, VIPAR Heavy Duty has moved its IMPACT Conference to a virtual platform as the V! IMPACT Conference.

“The decision to transition this year’s conference to a virtual setting was not taken lightly,” said Chris Baer, president and CEO, VIPAR Heavy Duty. “The IMPACT Conference is a marquee event and known as one of the best in our industry. Each year there is a tremendous amount of knowledge share and a wealth of opportunities that emerge at the conference, and we look forward to the opportunity to maintain our connection with all of our stakeholders – just in a different format this year.”

The V! IMPACT Conference is currently planned for the third week of October in line with the usual conference timing and plans to feature a general session, stockholder meeting and supplier meeting as well as other key events from its traditional format. The organization plans to release more details about the new format for the event in the coming weeks.

“As we continue to navigate these trying times, the support we’ve seen among our stockholders, suppliers and business associates within the past month is a true testament to the strength and viability of the VIPAR Heavy Duty network and the resiliency of the heavy duty aftermarket,” continued Baer. “Coming together as a network, even virtually, provides an opportunity to maintain our sense of community.”
