Vegas Labor Strike Resolved

Vegas Display issued an email update today that said the labor strike in the city has been resolved. AAIW exhibitors can now breathe a sigh of relief in the knowledge that the Las Vegas Teamsters Local 631 approved a new labor contract ending a weeklong labor strike.

LAS VEGAS — Vegas Display issued an email update today that said the labor strike in the city has been resolved. AAIW exhibitors can now breathe a sigh of relief in the knowledge that the Las Vegas Teamsters Local 631 approved a new labor contract ending a weeklong labor strike.

The new three year deal, which was approved on Saturday, provides a total of $4.20 in wage and benefit increases to be distributed in six month increments. The pact will apply to GES Exposition Services, The Freeman Companies and most of the 100 independent exhibitor appointed contractors.
